The story
I'm Sam Robertson, a web designer and developer based in Auckland. I've spent 15 years building websites — including work delivered through New Zealand agencies and studios.
Along the way I saw the same thing again and again: businesses paying agency prices, with layers of overhead between them and the person actually doing the work. Briefs passed through account managers. Decisions made in rooms the client wasn't in.
Digital House is my answer to that. You get the same standard you'd expect from a good agency, working directly with the person building your site — which means it's faster, more personal, and better value.
